Print out the crop plan
Happy new year! We hope you’ll have a nice season.
Here a few updates to kick off the new year.
The crop plan hardcopy outputs now follow the sorting used in the Plantings tab. So you can print your plantings in the order you want: by crop and variety, by sowing or planting date or harvesting date, but also by price, by revenue, etc.
In order to make crop monitoring easier, plantings rank are now displayed on all hardcopy outputs of the crop plan.
Pro Tip: if you want to print your crop plan according to the planting ranks, you have to sort by planting date.
Improvements
- In the task calendar, the number and type of containers is displayed not only for nursery tasks, but also for planting tasks.
- The display options of the Field map tab (field/greenhouse, search, tags, etc.) are now saved when you switch tabs.
- The menu button of the last task of the list is now accessible on mobile.
- You will receive a warning email upon payment failure.
- Better settings for the maintenance page: some people had difficulty connecting to Brinjel after a maintenance period. This was caused by a cache problem of some browsers and should never happen again.
- Fixed several minor bugs and usual security updates.

Following numerous requests, we have added a column showing the maximum number of containers needed for the year. This number is calculated on a weekly basis to allow for a safety margin. However, we advise you to check these numbers and adapt them to your own practice.

Bulk edit of planting dates and durations
In response to numerous requests, we’ve added the ability to bulk-edit planting dates and durations. To limit manipulation errors, only one parameter can be modified at a time. You can thus shift several plantings by a given number of days or weeks, edit a date or edit a duration. Dates or durations are automatically adjusted as needed.
Improvement -
Automatic field map adjustment
If you reduce the length of a planting that has already been assigned to a location, the field map is now automatically updated to match the new length. The planting will be unassigned from the locations, starting from the end of the field map.
Improvement -

We’re planning further improvements for this year, to make Brinjel a fully usable smartphone app.
